The GRENKE Chess Open will be held from March 29 to April 2, 2018 in the congress centre in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Formerly known as the Deizisauer Neckar-Open, this nine rounds Swiss system tournament features top group grandmasters competing for a first prize of €15,000.
The tournament includes over 100 titled players and over 900 participants in total.
Players receive 2 hours for 40 moves and 30 minutes for the rest of the game. There is no increment.
