Tournament info

FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament is one of the most important FIDE events of the year. Players compete for the right to play in the next FIDE World Championship match against current chess champion GM Ding Liren.

Players compete in a double round-robin. The time control is 120 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus 30 seconds increment per move starting from move 41.
