Tournament info

The FIDE World Cadet Chess Championship is being held in Under 8, 10 and 12 categories from 4-15 November 2018 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

Each of the six events (there are separate Open and Girls sections) is an 11-round Swiss open.

Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one.
