Tournament info
The Gibraltar Masters is held in the Caleta Hotel, Gibraltar from 22-31 January 2019.
It's a 10-rounds open featuring several top GMs such as MVL, Aronian, Nakamura and So.
The time control is 100 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 50 minutes for 20 moves, then 15 minutes until the end of the game.
In a case of a tie for first place a play-off will be played.
The 1st prize is £25,000.
