The 7th Iberoamerican Chess Championship is a 9-round Swiss tournament and is taking place from 10-18 August 2019 in Linares, Spain.

The event is the individual championship for players from Ibero-America, which comprises of Spain, Portugal and a host of countries in America where Spanish or Portuguese are the predominant languages.

Time control: 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment from move 1.
