Hoogeveen Chess Open 2019

Tournament info

The Hoogeveen Chess Tournament will be held from Saturday 19th October through Saturday 26th October 2019.

The tournament consists of the Hoogeveen Matches, the Hoogeveen Open and two amateur tournaments. All tournaments will take place in the attractive town hall of Hoogeveen.

In the Hoogeveen Open, 9 rounds will be played. After the 7th round, the top 4 qualifies for the semi-finals and finals to decide the top prizes of the Open tournament. The remaining players of the Open group will play a regular 8th and 9th round.

Time control: 40 moves in 90 minutes, 30 minutes extra time + an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move 1.
