The FIDE Women's World Chess Championship Match 2020 (WWM) is organized from January 3rd to 26th 2020 in Shanghai and Vladivostok.
WWM is the match between the reigning Women's World Champion GM Ju Wenjun and her challenger - the winner of the FIDE Women's Candidates Tournament 2019 GM Aleksandra Goryachkina.
WWM consists of twelve games.
The time control for each game is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move 1.
The player who scores 6.5 points or more wins the Match. No further games are played. If the score after twelve games is equal, a tie-break will be played.
The players cannot draw a game by agreement before black's 40th move.
