Saint Louis Rapid and Blitz is the 4th stage on the 2022 Grand Chess Tour, a series of five events with a total prize fund of $1.4 million. The 10-player event takes place from 26-31 August.
The rapid is a single round-robin on the first 3 days with a time control of 25 minutes for all moves and 10 seconds increment from first move.
The final 2 days are a blitz double round-robin, with 18 rounds of 5 minutes plus 2 seconds increment from first move.
Rapid games count double, with 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw.
