Tournament info
FIDE Women Candidates Chess Tournament is one of the most important FIDE events of the year. Players compete for the right to play in the next FIDE Women World Chess Championship match against current women's chess champion GM Ju Wenjun.
Players compete in a double round-robin. The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus 30 seconds increment per move starting from first move.
