The 23rd European Women Club Cup takes place from 12-18 October 2018 at the Porto Carras Grand Resort in Chalkidiki, Greece.
The annual tournament is a 7-round team event with preliminary round-robin groups (5 rounds) and play-offs (2 rounds), played with the standard time-control of 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes till the end of the game, with a 30-second increment per move from move 1.
Standings in the round-robins are determined by Match points (2-1-0), while individual performance prizes are also on offer for each board.
The Women section is played on 4 boards (with a possible reserve) and consists of 12 teams and 54 players, including several members of the world's elite.
