FIDE Women Candidates Tournament will be held in Kazan from May 29 to June 19, 2019.
For a ticket to a match with world champion Ju Wenjun (China) will argue Kateryna Lagno (Russia, finalist of the last world championship), Maria Muzychuk (Ukraine, semi-finalist of the world championship), Alexandra Kosteniuk (Russia, semi-finalist of the world championship), Anna Muzychuk (Ukraine, rating), Valentina Gunina (Russia, by rating), Nana Dzagnidze (Georgia, by rating), Tan Zhongyi (China, by rating) and Aleksandra Goryachkina (Russia, by rating).
Participants will play a two-round robin tournament. The prize fund will be a record amount for women's tournaments - 200,000 euros.
Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves and 30 minutes until the end of the game + 30 seconds per move, starting from the first move.
