The SuperChess Cup Rapid and Blitz 2019 is a chess tournament organized for the first time by the Superbet Foundation, under the patronage of the Romanian Chess Federation, bringing together the 10 best Romanian players, in parallel with the Super Chess Tour, having as their poster heads, among others, Caruana, Aronian, Anand and Karjakin.
The official opening will be on November 5, at the Stejarii Country Club (Bucharest, Jandarmeriei Street, no. 14A), where very interesting events will take place, throughout the day.
Time control: - for rapid games: 25 minutes for all moves plus 10-seconds delay - for blitz games: 5 minutes plus 3-seconds delay.
Rapid games count double, with 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw.
