Brazilian Chess Championship is an 16-player knockout tournament and is taking place from 10-19 January 2020 in Natal, Brazil.
Match format: a match consists of 2 classical games (90 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move), if tied a 25 minutes + 10 seconds increment match follows, if still tied another 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment match and finally an Armageddon game (6 minutes for white vs. 5 minutes for black).
